Sanger V215

OVERVIEW
The V215, Sanger's top-selling boat, offers a lot, but the wake is the biggest surprise. It's ready right out of the box and only gets better with more people. It's also Sanger's most nimble boat and is big enough for 12 people but sized well for garages, especially thanks to the detachable platform.

WHAT WE DIG
• Full wraparound lounge adds a lot of seating
• Detachable platform makes for easy storage
• Dash is clean and stylish
• Rear-facing seat back behind the driver
• Billet aluminum throughout the boat adds bling

FEATURES

Highlight Feature
The driver's seat on this V215 is pretty sick. Ergonomically designed and ultra comfortable, it has a perfect seat back angle at cruising speed, and the padded armrest is perfectly positioned so you can comfortably keep your hand on the throttle at all times.

Hull
The V215's hull is old school in a good way. Made with 100 percent hand-laminated sheet fiberglass and Aqua-Beam nonrotting wood-core composite stringers, it produces a solid ride. The beam is pretty wide for a 21-footer, too, which opens up the seating a lot. This boat is rated for 12 and nobody felt the least bit cramped during testing.

Ballast
We rode behind the V215 with 1,000 pounds of factory ballast in the upgraded system. One 500-pound bag is in the bow while twin 250-pound tanks are in the rear. With this ballast, the boat is extremely wake-ready.

Tower
The Pro Flight Chubby is a solid tower, but we tested the boat with the optional Wake Air tower and we couldn't recommend it more. It comes with swivel board racks and forms a nice curved line off the boat. The billet aluminum accents really add to the look.

Wake Shaper
We tested the boat with the optional Bennett trim tab, so we could adjust the running attitude the way we wanted.

Wake
We weren't expecting wakes like this. With the factory ballast, we got some big wakes riding at 65 feet. The wakes weren't too steep or rampy, and we had a blast on them. Double-ups were solid. We did have to pay attention to where our crew was seated so we could balance the weight and keep the wake dialed.
