MasterCraft Boats X-2 2009

Overview

Think of the MasterCraft X-2 as the little brother to the X-Star, MasterCraft’s premier wake ride. The two boats share an identical seating configuration in their main cabins and, thanks to their pickle-fork bows and standard ZeroFlex towers, they share a similar profile as well. So what’s the big difference? The MasterCraft X-2 manages to do all this in a garage-friendly 20-foot package. That length combined with a relatively narrow 8-foot beam makes the MasterCraft X-2 one of the X-Series’ best crossovers and a great option for multisport families who live on waterways with size restrictions.

FAVORITE FEATURE:

Pickle-fork Bow
MasterCraft’s original pickle-fork design stretches the width of the X-2’s bow — a healthy 73 inches — which helps this 20-foot boat feel much bigger. Plus, the high seat backs on either end create a comfortable lounge no matter which way you’re facing.

THE WAKES

With the almost 900 pounds of factory ballast, the wakes are rampy and medium-size, with MasterCraft’s classic consistency, perfect for the intermediate rider. And we think this shot of Collin Harrington ripping answers any questions about the X-2’s surf wake.
