Wakeboard Boat Review
For years, the Moomba Outback V has been the epitome of compact performance and wake prowess in a wakeboarding boat small enough to fit nearly any waterway. At a clean 20 feet with a standard folding tower, the Outback V takes the hassle out of storage, even in a 7-foot garage. We’re crazy about the Moomba Outback V’s new look as well. With flared gunwales in the bow as well as various automotive-inspired accents throughout, your hardest decision will be choosing the color scheme.
The Wakes
With an impressive 1,200 pounds of well-distributed bag ballast, Moomba Boats didn’t forget that the most important thing on a wake boat is the wake. Wide for a 20-foot boat, we found the Moomba Outback V to have an impressive span and enough girth to send us comfortably out into the flats. Ride it with a short line and slow, then work up to longer lines and faster speeds as you add weight.
