Max Out the Wakesurf Wave in the …

Axis A22

Rider: Trever Maur
Wave side: Starboard

Why it’s a best wakesurf boat: Axis’ Plug ’N’ Play system, which lets you add on bigger ballast bags without pulling out pumps. It’s all switches! Plus, the A22 is so big — 22 feet long with a 100-inch beam — the chicks have plenty of room.

How to max it out for surfing: Fill up the starboard ballast and leave the rest of the tanks dry. Load up the starboard side of the lounge with people and add Plug ’N’ Play bags to both sides. This is easy to do, keeps the wave huge and makes it simple to switch sides for left-foot-forward riders.
