Max Out the Wakesurf Wave in the …
Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV
Rider: Brian Grubb
Wave side: Starboard
Why it’s a best wakesurf boat: Because the wave is the same shape on the left and the right, thanks to the 23 LSV’s balanced hull. Plus, with MaliView, you can program a preset that will fill up the factory ballast for a left or right wave, so switching sides is as easy as pressing a button.
How to max it out for surfing: Fill up the center and starboard tanks completely while leaving the bow and port tanks empty. Add an extra ballast bag in the starboard-side rear locker and have all your passengers sit on the starboard side. That will give you plenty of weight for a great wave, but to make it stand up even taller, I put the Power Wedge all the way down.
