Western Oasis Wakeplace is a dream come true for Sesitec System 2.0 fans. Featuring a whopping four two-tower setups, there is plenty to blow anyone’s mind. Beginners and those seeking to learn air tricks will love the obstacle-free cable. Those who want to slay rails, boost off kickers and get their jib on will love the diversity of obstacles on the other three cables; one of which features a 4-foot step-down pool, where you can ride rails and other obstacles to the lower pool and then back up — the first of its kind in North America.
Located just 30 miles from Reno, Nevada, and 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe, Western Oasis Wakeplace’s vicinity offers no shortage of exciting things to do or beautiful things to see. You can find gambling, shopping, night life, dining and just about every outdoor activity imaginable just around the corner. If you’re looking to ride the boat too, you’re in luck because there’s plenty of glassy water to be had behind the MasterCraft X-Star. Three of the cables have been open since late June; the fourth (with the step-down pool) is set to open in mid-July. You may be thinking “wow” about the park’s four Sesitec System 2.0s, but if you can believe it, Western Oasis Wakeplace has even greater things in store — including a full-size six-tower setup due to open in spring 2011.
