Does anyone in Tampa know of any nice and relatively inexpensive leather retailers? For jackets
Is there any wakeboarding rental/lessons in CT?
How is the Malibu Wakesetter 247 LSV to ski behind? My kids all want a wakeboard boat but can the boat be positioned to ski the course?
I own and do some intermediate slolom skiing behind my 2009 247. It is a wake hull.
The wake is bigger than most ski boats - given. The boat handles like a 21' boat regarless that it is 4 feet bigger and stays true through a course. I recommend to have less than 1/2 take of gas in the boat to help minimize the wake size.
I would try skiing behind the sunsetter models. These are v drive boats with the diamond cut hull…perfect for slalom skiing. Still load em up for boarding. 21 lsv would be good but not as roomy as the 247 obviously. Or look at the Response fxi. Center engine model that does it all. I own a 2000 sunsetter lxi that is the best all around boat out there. They quit making that boat in 2005….find a 2005 and you are golden!!( if you like center mounted engine design)
