The Pro Wakeboard Tour’s new format delivered plenty of action-packed moments at the season’s first stop in Acworth, Georgia — none more exciting than Rusty Malinoski’s super-clean 1080 in the double-up contest. While this is Malinoski’s third contest 1080 — he landed the first at last year’s Pro Wakeboard Tour finale in Reno and the second at a late-season pro event in Winter Haven, Florida — he’s still the only rider to land three full rotations in competition.
