King of Wake to Air in Nearly 80 Million Homes on VERSUS

Orlando, Fla. – World Sports & Marketing and the NBC Sports Group have partnered to televise the 2011 King of Wake series this summer on VERSUS. The King of Wake’s new cable television partner, which reaches nearly 80 million homes, will air all eight stops of the series on Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. ET.

Tune in to follow wakeboarding’s top pro riders, as they compete in the sport’s most elite competition series for big prize money and to see who rules the wake. VERSUS will give viewers unprecedented access to the competition with in-depth profiles of all the top riders.

“With this new partnership, the King of Wake will go from a cable television network of 30 million homes to nearly 80 million homes on VERSUS,” said Sean Dishman, Director of Sales and Marketing for the King of Wake. “VERSUS will help enable us to expose our brand, the sport and its athletes to a considerably larger audience in high definition.”
