Nautique Boats recently unveiled a new rail, which is floated and secured by a Super Air Nautique 220, at the Orlando Watersports Complex. On Jan. 22, nearly the entire Nautique team, including Danny Harf, Shaun Murray, Shawn Watson, JD Webb and Jimmy LaRiche, showed up to session the new A-frame for an unveiling party at OWC.
“It’s really awesome Nautique and OWC partnered up on such a progressive slider at the world’s best cable park,” Watson says.
Nautique wakeskater Brandon Thomas DJed the event, which also included autograph signings and giveaways throughout the evening as well as a best trick contest that was judged by Team Nautique riders. Ian Smith of Orlando won a Slingshot wakeboard, a one-day OWC pass and a case of Red Bull for the best trick off the new Nautique rail. OWC even opened the cable for free to anyone who wanted to ride.
āIām extremely pleased with the turnout and local rider support for the unveiling,” said Nautique President Bill Yeargin. “This is another industry first for Nautique and OWC. I would like to thank Rene Hoffman and his OWC staff for all their support of Nautique for so many years.ā
