Proof got its start in a garage in Eagle, Idaho in 2010. The founders, 3 brothers, grew Proof to an internationally known brand that is loved the world over. The roots of Proof begin with the founders’ Grandpa Bud. He opened his small sawmill almost 60 years ago. Despite setbacks, Bud’s small business was able to prosper with a lot of hard work and tenacity; he eventually grew that small sawmill into a nationally recognized company. Bud’s work ethic was instilled in Proof’s founders, they grew up with “sawdust in their veins” working with wood in the mill. They pride themselves on providing original products that are handcrafted from sustainable materials such as, bamboo, re-purposed skate decks, and plastic made from plants. The Ontario is a wooden interpretation of the popular wayfarer style with its very own Proof flair. The Ontario is part of the Skateboard collection which is handcrafted and assembled from 5 ply canadian maple skateboard decks. This unique skateboard construction makes them very durable and one of a kind. Each frame is hand polished and coated with a water/sweat protective seal.
Extreme attention to detail is placed in each frame Proof makes. Each pair has laser engraved logos and a quote on the inside arm. Each pair of glasses comes in its very own custom wood case and microfiber pouch to protect and keep your glasses clean.
Proof not only strives to give back to the environment, they also strive to help those in need. A portion of each sale goes to non profit charities Proof believes in. Proof works with nonprofits in India that provide sight giving surgeries to people with cataracts.
