2011 Nautique Wake Games to Be Held in Orlando

Orlando, Fla. — The largest wakeboard teamed event in the world is returning to Orlando, Fla., on April 28-May 1, when the 2011 Nautique Wake Games, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink hits the waters of the Orlando Watersports Complex. The four-day-long pro-am contest teams amateur wake athletes with the top professional riders in the sport.

Ten preselected team captains will host a live draft to field a team with a mix of male and female, pro and amateur riders. Each athlete will compete in their respective division, which is separated by age and skill level, while contributing points toward a team score based on their individual placement in that division. All 21 divisions will crown a winner, and the team with the highest total score will take home the team title.

The Nautique Wake Games, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink will host qualifying rounds during its first two days of action, before the 10 captains draft their teams on Friday evening, April 29. Teams will begin accumulating points on Saturday and continue through Sunday, when a winning team will be determined.
