Fans lined the shores of the Orlando Watersports Complex today to catch the final rounds of action at the 2010 Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by ROCKSTAR. With nine divisions already wrapped-up, the 10 remaining groups of riders hit the water today to vie for individual division trophies and points toward the team challenge.
All 10 teams came into the final day of competition with base points from yesterday’s nine division finals. Team Adkison and Team Harf were tied for first place. But with big finishes in today’s finals, Team LaRiche came from behind to win the Air Nautique Wake Games team challenge.
Team LaRiche finished the contest with 757 points and the most first-place finishes with four. The winning team consisted of Dallas Friday, Hunter Hanson, Tyler Heinz, Brandon Thomas, Jefferson Langley, Danny Thollander, Alyssa Rokita, Ryan Harris, Aaron Abel and captain Jimmy LaRiche.
LaRiche advanced to today’s Pro Men’s finals, but was no mach for Australian young gun Harley Clifford. Clifford took first place in the five-man final, with rookie Bob Soven taking second and JD Webb in third. LaRiche finished in fifth.
Dallas Friday successfully defended her title at the Air Nautique Wake Games, finishing in first place in the Pro Women’s finals. Friday won the six-woman final, and Nicola Butler and Amber Wing finished second and third, respectively.
In the Pro Wakeskate finals, Brian Grubb tried pulling off the five-peat at the Air Nautique Wake Games, but 2009 World champ Reed Hansen pulled off the upset to claim his first title at the Wake Games. Grubb ended up taking third place, with former national champ Stuart Shinn finishing in second place.

touche EricS- and fuel isn't going to show it for another 2 months… talk about getting people pumped for the season. it will be in and out of the mag before its shown on tv. with all the progression going on in the sport…. where is all the wake media? and what about a list of the teams… i thought the whole point of wakegames was the team aspect of it. I guess its become just another pro tour stop!
touche EricS- and fuel isn't going to show it for another 2 months. talk about progressing the sport… where is all the wake media? still no list of the teams either. isn't the big deal about wake games the team effort, not just another pro stop?
No pics. vids or updates? wakesauce for sure

Coverage stinks. Had to come here each day to read the Twitter feeds 'cause noone covers this stuff. AlliSports lagged a day behind - even now this article is here and they have no results up.
Really need to change this somehow so the fans can follow it real time.
