Phil and Bob Soven are set to join guidos and pregnant 16-year-olds as reality show subjects on MTV. The Soven’s new reality show, Wake Brothers, is one of six new original shows recently ordered by MTV. It’s a pretty big deal for both the Sovens and wakeboarding, especially since MTV had six of the top 20 original shows among viewers 12-34 this summer, more than any other network.

“I’m so happy this worked out,” Phil says. “It’s not only a great opportunity for myself and my brother, but it’s really cool for wakeboarding to get this kind of exposure.”
