Meet Kristen Clinkscales, 21 year-old model from San Diego, CA.  Kristen is our May 2012 Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING model search winner at wakeboardingmag.com. She will go on to compete for the overall title of Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING 2012, but for now, check out her interview and photos.

First and Foremost, do you wakeboard?  I’ve tried a couple times! The last time I went I got hit in the face with the board and split my forehead open. It definitely scared me a little bit but I like anything with a challenge.

What was your favorite wakeboarding experience?  Any of the times that I actually stood up! Haha I’m a newbie and grew up doing other water sports, but I am definitely looking forward to improving and maybe learning some tricks!

What other sports do you participate in?  I was always a cheerleader and a Dancer in high school, so I never got a chance to try a lot of typical sports. I’ve rode quads, dirt bikes and in dune buggies in the desert since I was only 2 years old. I ski, wakeboard, knee board and tube at river, but my new favorite sport is snowboarding. I was taught to ski at such a young age and as soon as I got on a snowboard a couple years ago I fell in love.

Your modeling experience is very extensive, where is the coolest place it has taken you?  Places like Miami and Vegas are always fun! I haven’t had the chance to travel to another country yet, but my favorite places modeling has taken me are ones where I have family. I’ve been super lucky to have my family all over the US come and see me at different motocross races, ufc fights, and other events, it turns my work into a mini family vacation!

Turn-ons -  Im 5’11 so a guy who is taller than I am is always a turn on. Someone who can make me laugh, has ambition, is adventurous and can have fun in the most boring of situations are all things I look for!

Turn-offs - Smokers, jealousy, cheaters, & picky eaters… I can eat anything!
