Wakesports' February Freezeride is BACK! February 16th it will be going DOWN at the Carlsbad Lagoon with Steel Lafferty!

Wakesports is holding its annual Halloween Shred on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Carlsbad Lagoon from 11 a.m-5 p.m.

Wakesports Unlimited, Carlsbad Lagoon and TransWorld WAKEBOARDING hosted the first-ever Halloween Shred on Oct. 23. After only two days of advertising, more than 30 riders, including Randall Harris, Eddie Valdez, Jacob Valdez, Melissa Marquadt and Justin Fisher, turned out for a costume contest and BBQ.

For those of you who don't know, the Carlsbad Lagoon is known as the birthplace of wakeboarding. This glassy lagoon sits alongside California's Interstate 5 in Carlsbad and was the perfect spot for Tony Finn to test the first Skurfer prototypes in the mid-eighties...
