LukeWatch Amber Wing land a wake-to-wake toeside frontside 900 — the first 9 ever landed by a woman wakeboarder. Wing’s 900 is surely a frontrunner for the Oakley Move of the Year award at WAKEBOARDING‘s 2010 Wake Awards.
This is not the first time Wing has reset the record books in women’s wakeboarding. She also was the first girl rider to land a toeside frontside 720 and a heelside frontside 720. As if the 9 weren’t enough, the video also includes a session from Amber’s Oakley teammate Nicola Butler.

That was clearly a 9. She took off on her toes, rotated 2.5 times and landed with her toes pointing the opposite way they were when she took off. Hope you never judged a wake contest.
