Wakeboard Boat Review
The Centurion Ri237 is the company’s new flagship and boasts big surf performance along with a host of luxury-class features in an attractive package. This is for the advanced surfer who demands a lot of wave and a lot of different means to configure it.
This is the highest gunwale Centurion has ever built, and that affects a lot more things than immediately meet the eye. Seat depth, storage, ballast, cockpit comfort — just about everything is affected in a positive way with a boat this deep. Toward the rear, there’s an innovative new bench-style seat that has three separate positions throughout the lounge. Centurion is the only company executing a rear bench-style seat in this particular configuration, and it’s nice to have another option in such an integral feature. The new dash is another head turner. It’s got two side-by-side touchscreens, and the Ri237 is the only boat currently debuting the new technology. The screens actually communicate so your visual can be tethered or separate depending on what functionality you’re using. QuickSurf Pro, driver profiles, CATS, lighting — basically anything on an actuator or circuit on this boat can be controlled at the new helm. The screens are also high-definition 1080p, which is a welcome advancement for the inboard market.
