Overview
The MasterCraft X-1 is about as close to classic as wakeboard boats get. The original X-Star, the MasterCraft X-1 earned its legendary status towing the X Games and the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour and boosting Parks Bonifay to the sport’s first 1080. Today, the MasterCraft X-1 combines the same wakes that helped make Bonifay famous with standard modern wake equipment like the Zero Flex tower, MasterCraft cruise control and a three-tank ballast system that holds more than 700 pounds — all for a very affordable $40,000.
FAVORITE FEATURE:
X-Series Board Racks
We see a lot of great board racks every year, and none are better than these X-Series racks. With the twist of a knob and the pull of a pin, these sturdy beauties spin in and out of the boat for easy loading and unloading. And a tug on a lever locks your boards in place. An option on the entry-level MasterCraft X-1, they’re a must-have upgrade for any rider.

THE WAKES
The wake behind the MasterCraft X-1 is like Old Faithful. It’s got a perfect transition, a really clean lip and it’s super-consistent. Bonifay used to go absolutely ballistic behind this boat — so can you.
