Wakeboard Boat Review
Thanks to Calabria Boat’s new you-want-it-you-got-it custom gelcoat, the ’09 Calabria Team V is the perfect fit for the rider who wants an all-around wakeboard boat that’s guaranteed to look like nothing else on the water. Think of it as the Orange County Choppers of the wake world. You play artist by hand-selecting the colors and designing the graphic from scratch, and Calabria builds it, no matter how elaborate. Since the polished stainless-steel tower, cruise control, dual-ram wake shaper, 11-speaker sound system and 1,100-pound ballast system all come standard, that über-custom paint job might be the only option you need.
FAVORITE FEATURE:
Ballast
Long one of our favorites, Calabria’s gravity-fed ballast system fills quicker than you can put on a board. The no-pump system is virtually maintenance-free and the below-the-floor tanks maximize the Calabria Team V’s 55 cubic feet of storage.

THE WAKES:
With 1,100 pounds of ballast, the Calabria Team V kicks up great wakes for beginner through intermediate riders. The wakes have long ramps, comfortable landing zones and nice, rounded peaks. We found the sweet spot at 22 mph 65 feet back.
