Boat Review
The all-new MasterCraft X-55 is the most luxurious boat in MasterCraft’s line, which puts it high up on the list of most luxurious wakeboard boats in this guide. Everything, from the flip-down armrests in the ridiculously roomy pickle-fork bow to the contoured seat backs in the main cabin, screams comfort. But the MasterCraft X-55 is just as much wake warrior as it is luxury liner. The ZeroFlex tower, superb MasterCraft X-Series swivel board racks and more than 1,100 pounds of factory ballast all come standard. So does one of the best out-of-the-box wakes in our tests.
FAVORITE FEATURE:
Main Cabin
The industry’s only 25-footer, the MasterCraft X-55 boasts one of the largest interiors you’ll find in a wake boat. Sheer size, however, isn’t the only reason this lounge impresses. The starboard seat bench coverts gracefully from forward- to rear-facing, the contoured rear seat backs welcome you in and the brand-new diamond stitching lends the upholstery both style and comfort.

THE WAKES
The MasterCraft X-55’s new modified, deep-V hull, which has 18 degrees of deadrise, gives it one of MasterCraft’s best straight-from-the-factory wakes. Our test model came equipped with a turbocharged Volkswagen diesel engine, which we felt made the wake even better, thanks to its added weight and incredible torque.
