Wakeboard Boat Review
The heavily decorated Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV is a hard-core wakeboarder’s dream with world-class wakes and tons of amenities to make life on the water more luxurious. The available MaliView system nested in a performance dash, available programmable keyless ignition, the sleek new Illusion G3 tower and the wake seat on the stern are just a few of the details Malibu Boats focused on for 2010. If you want to look good, go big and have fun, this may be the wakeboarding boat for you.
The Wakes
The Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV’s 1,350 pounds of hidden ballast come straight from the factory, so you can expect the wakes to kick up as the hull sinks at the touch of a few buttons. Expect predictable pop with smooth, mellow transitions and forgiving landing zones from the Wakesetter 23 LSV. You’d have to work pretty hard at driving badly to make these wakes wash over.
Don’t Miss
The helm The captain rides in plenty of style with the Wakesetter 23 LSV. The MaliView LCD command center controls almost everything on the boat, from the stereo to the ballast, with the touch of a few buttons, which leaves plenty of time to admire the Italian-made Isotta steering wheel and concentrate on the fingertip control Malibu Boats’ handling offers.
