Wakeboard Boat Review
A staple of the Malibu Boats line for years, the Wakesetter 23 LSV sports one of the most hallowed wakes on the water today. Over the years, the 23 LSV has consistently delivered on performance, quality and stellar wakes, which has made it Malibu’s best-selling model. With a brand-new look for 2014, the LSV is better than ever. The new seating setup includes a pair of rear-facing seats that pop up and fold down easily, which is great for watching riding and creating more usable space. Up front, new fold-down armrests add comfort to the 23 LSV’s traditional bow, while recessed lumbar panels make all the seats more ergonomic. The gunmetal matte finish on the dash and glove compartment and the new, accented logo graphic also caught our eyes. Like all 2014 Wakesetters, the 23 LSV is Surf Gate-capable, and the upgraded surf-enhancing system makes the 23 LSV’s standout wakesurf wave even better. Surf Gate now switches faster than ever. Not only can you go from wakeboarding to wakesurfing in seconds, but also the delay time from deployment to transfer is almost nonexistent, which means you can get consistent with side-to-side transfers and tricks. If you love to surf, it’s a no-brainer add-on.
The Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV is the best wakeboard boat for you if: You want legendary wakeboard and surf wakes in a stylish, traditional-bow package.
