LAGUNA BEACH (March 29, 2005)-Op Girls Learn To Ride (Op GLTR), the original series of action sports instructional clinics for females, today announced its 2005 wakeboarding schedule of events. Op GLTR, now entering its sixth year, has assembled over 25 wakeboarding clinics this season, as the overall series expands to include over 200 action sports clinics and camps in the U.S. and Canada this year in seven different sports.
As in past years, Op GLTR will again partner with instructors from Orlando-based Mission2Ride on wakeboarding clinics and camps. Presenting sponsor Teen Vogue will provide marketing and promotions support and outreach to a broad mainstream audience of young girls and Wakeboarding magazine will provide marketing support within the action sports industry. The wakeboarding clinics, which will average four hours in length at $62 per session, will be open to all skill levels, from first timers to advanced riders.
This year Op GLTR will also partner with the Wakeboard Boot Camp in Palm Springs, Calif. for a six-day session from July 24-29. This special session is available to women of all ages.
