FUEL TV to Air The CARNIVAL

FUEL TV is set to air The 2008 Carnival presented by FOX on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 8:00 pm (Eastern & Pacific Time), on FUEL TV’s new summer Wake Block and re-air it several more times over the next few months.

Tune in to watch The Carnival, which debuted this spring on May 8-10 at The Projects Wakeboard Camp in Orlando, Florida. Watch as the world’s best rail riders battle behind the Sea Doo Wake Edition PWC on several new rail options with a new course design by Projects extraordinaire Pat Panakos thanks to the support of Fox Riders Co., Red Bull, Sea-Doo, Hyperlite and Alliance Multimedia.

Known as the first rail contest in the history of the sport, and the event that put The Projects on the map in 1999, riders like Gator Lutgert and champion Scott Byerly proved that rail riding was a category within the sport that deserved attention.

After two years of absence, The Carnival rose again in 2001, also at the Projects, with some incredible rails, gaps and even unimaginable structures like a full-size quarter pipe. With increasing popularity in rail riding, the vibe was heavy and another one of the sports biggest names walked away with the belt, Mr. Parks Bonifay.

Resurrected in 2007, once again we saw some of the most progressive rails and riding in the history of the sport. That didn’t stop Mr. Bonifay from defending his belt and proving to the World that he is still the best rail rider in the industry.

In 2008, over 30 riders battled in the rail park in quest of taking the coveted Carnival Belt away from Mr. Bonifay. Watch as the final head-to-head battles unfold between Rathy, Lidberg, Watson , Henshaw and Two Time Champion Parks Bonifay for the Carnival Belt.
