For the fifth year in a row, the CIE Spring Ride kicked off the wakeboarding season in Northern California. JD Webb, Jimmy LaRiche, Ricky Gonzalez and more riders from CWB, Gator Boards and Hyperlite showed up to the Pine Resort on Bass Lake on May 9 to sign autographs and ride in the double-up competition. Gonzalez’s massive hoochie glide won the biggest air award, and LaRiche took home the best trick award for his switch heelside 900.
