After making it through an intimidating semifinals heat that knocked out Phil Soven, “The Bone Crusher” Rusty Malinoski pulled out a big win in boot-high chop at the final day of the 2009 Wake Games in Orlando. Fighting through a tweaked rib and broken fin, Malinoski still pulled out two solid, stand-up passes and a backside 720 to take first in the five-man finals.
