For those of you who don’t know, the Carlsbad Lagoon is known as the birthplace of wakeboarding. This glassy lagoon sits alongside California’s Interstate 5 in Carlsbad and was the perfect spot for Tony Finn to test the first Skurfer prototypes in the mid-eighties.
