The South Shore Harbor Marina in Houston, TX played host to it’s first System 2.0 wakeboard demo this past weekend during the Southwest Boat Show. The Wake Park Project, along with local shop M2 Sports, brought out a Unit rail and M2 kicker for some of the top rail riders in the sport to have some fun on. Shane Bonifay, Mark Rossiter, Clay Fletcher, Adam Errington, Oliver Derome and ‘French’ Paul Hernaez joined up with locals at the event site to put on the show. All the riders went out and slayed the rails and kicker under the hot Texas sun, with Adam Errington taking home the best trick on the kicker and Mark Rossiter grabbing the best rail hit. Another highlight was 13 year old Grant Curran learning his second invert with a toeside front roll off the kicker and a frontside board slide on the up to flat. His style is sick and his future is bright. Most of the crowd had never seen wakeboarding action so close before, something that would not have been possible without the Sesitec System 2.0. Keep your eyes peeled for next years Houston boat show, where the System 2.0 event is planned to make another appearance.
