Congrats to Danny Harf and Sean Kilgus, whose first teaser for DEFY won first place in the sports category of Panasonic’s highly-respected “Shoot It/Share It” video contest. Whether you’re a wakeboarder or not, this teaser gets the blood pumping. Wakeboarding is definitely an art and these producers are out to inspire like never before.
Highlighted by Harf’s wrapped heelside nose grab backside 900, the original DEFY teaser first premiered at the 2009 Wake Awards and set the pace for one of the most anticipated films in wakeboarding history. Fans are encouraged to to attend the DEFY premiere on June 17, 2011, at the ShowBox Sodo in Seattle, Washington. And look for it shortly after on DVD and at the iTunes store.
