To celebrate their upcoming film endeavor, the guys over at Teva have just announced their “Stompin Grounds” video contest to help promote the new movie they’re working on. Check it out: They are putting up $2,500 in cash and here are all the rules and info for you to enter.
We’re going to have the voting of the Top 10 submitted videos here on TransWorld WAKEBOARDING, so submit your video from last summer, good luck, and stay tuned!
Stompin Grounds Video Contest
You spent all last summer traveling to new spots, checking out the latest cable parks, towing on your favorite lake all the while mastering new tricks. Now Teva is giving you a chance to earn a piece of the $2500 in cash and prizes for the best Stompin Grounds video! We are looking for edits of approximately 3 minutes long showing us where you have been and what happened along the way. Along with the best overall video award we are also going to offer a $500 prize for best carnage clip! Enter each category for the best chance to win with as many submissions as you would like. Check out the filmmaker guidelines below and we look forward to seeing your edits!
Filmmaker Guidelines
The judges are looking for originality, style, progressive riding, unseen locations, and tight editing. These elements will be combined to score each individual submission. Feel free to add any elements of reality or humor as you see fit. Be sure to send along a clip of your best crash in order to earn an extra $500. Please make sure to give rider credit, music credit, and name locations in each video. Remember the producer must have rights to all footage used.
After all the videos are the judges will narrow the field down to the top ten. At that point, an online vote will take place which will count towards 25 percent of the overall score.

Deadline:
All submissions are due by 8PM EST March 16th, 2012. The winner will be announced March 31st, 2012.
Categories:
Best overall Stompin Grounds Video will receive $2000 in cash and a spot in the Stompin Grounds feature film available April 15st.
Best crash will receive $500 and a new Shred Ready Helmet..
All submissions will receive a free pair of Teva Footwear.
