Meet Lexi Sims, the 20-year-old fulltime model. She is from Atlanta, GA, and is the winner of the April 2012 Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING model search at wakeboardingmag.com. Lexi will go on to compete for the overall title of Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING 2012, but for now, check out her interview and photos.
What was your first experience wakeboarding? Well it was in the ocean so it was pretty rough and very difficult, but I got up my first try! I snowboard so it probably came a little easier.
Do you have a favorite pro wakeboarder? That’s difficult because I know them all and they are all great. I don’t want to choose just one favorite. They are all my favorite.
Tell us more about your modeling experience? I’ve modeled for 4 years and it is my passion. It is my fulltime job and it is something that I want to do for as long as I can.
What is your best time out in the boat? Pretty much every King of Wake contest I go to. I love being there, they are so much fun and everyone is having great time. All the riders are such positive and cool guys. Unless they are losing they get mad, so I learned my lesson. Haha!
Turn Offs — Bad shoes, bad teeth
Turn Ons — Guys that are confident but not cocky. Someone who carries himself well. I also love bad pick up lines, they catch my attention and make me laugh.
