On July 20-21, 2013, women wakeboarders from around the country gathered at the Mile High Wakeboard Camp in Milliken, Colorado for the world premier of the all women’s wake film, Sets In Motion, presented by Oakley.
Amber Wing, Nicola Butler, Hayley Smith, Melissa Marquardt, Angelika Schriber, Bec Gange, and Abby Delgoffe were all on-site for the two-day weekend wakeboard experience, which was stocked full of cable riding, a meet-and-greet autograph session, an outdoor beach BBQ, and exclusive coaching by the stars of the film. The event centered around the premier of Sets In Motion, which took place on a huge outdoor film screen situated right in front of the lake on Saturday night, July 20th.
“I wanted to do something that would progress women’s wakeboarding,” shares Amber Wing, the visionary behind the project, “My biggest inspiration was riding with all the girls and seeing how amazing they are and just wanting to show the world.”
