NAUTIQUE DONATING SUPER AIR NAUTIQUE G21 TO BENEFIT “AS OUR OWN”
As part of its Nautique Cares initiative, today Nautique announces the donation of a 2014 Super Air Nautique G21 to benefit “As Our Own,” a non-profit organization. They have created a sweepstakes that will allow one lucky person to win this incredible boat, valued over $120,000.
As Our Own is a non-profit organization working in India that rescues vulnerable girls from certain enslavement and exploitation, caring for them as their own. Last fall, Nautique employees visited India to learn about As Our Own and while the team was saddened by the situation it also came home determined to help.
In order to help As Our Own, the Nautique team developed a plan to donate a one-of-a-kind Super Air Nautique G21 that will be awarded at the beginning of next year. From now through December 31st, when you donate a minimum of $100 to As Our Own on this web page: http://AsOurOwn.org/G21Sweepstakes, you will automatically be entered for a chance to win. Additionally, each month, contributors will also be entered into a drawing for other great items such as Nautique Gear, an autographed Shaun Murray Hyperlite wakeboard with bindings, or a remote control Super Air Nautique G23.
In addition to the sweepstakes, Nautique is working with its sister company, Orlando Watersports Complex (OWC), to host a Fall concert at OWC for the benefit of As Our Own. The details of this event will be announced soon.
“As Our Own is incredibly appreciative of Nautique’s passion and commitment to help vulnerable girls in India,” commented As Our Own CEO Ralph Borde. “To donate a boat and work with us to promote raising funds and awareness proves once again what a special organization Nautique is, we could not be more thankful,” added Borde.
“After Nautique employees visited India last Fall we felt obliged to help; the need is so huge and As Our Own is doing such an amazing job that we wanted to support them,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “Over the past 30 years I have visited many of the poorest places on our planet including communities in Africa, Asia, South and Central America where there is horrible poverty; however, I have never seen a need as great as the need our team saw in India. I truly hope our Nautique friends will visit the website to learn how they can join us in helping As Our Own,” Yeargin added.
