Look for CWB’s DB9 wakeboard in stores soon. It uses their new “Bamcore,” which is made up of bamboo sheets blended with PVC foam and wrapped in carbon, for a more earth-friendly construction designed to give a tensile strength to weight ratio that resists compression. The DB9 wakeboard has a nylon base with a huge center spine running nose-to-tail and a variable edge that is thick in the middle and thin at the tail, where you need it most. The DB9 is a wide wakeboard that delivers pop, with an agressive continuous rocker to ride smooth. It’s available in a 138 cm and 144 cm and will retail for $649.99 blank. We’re not sure which team riders will be on this wakeboard, but keep an eye out for a super progressive and diverse 2010 lineup from CWB.
