Rider: Ryan Davis
Level: Intermediate
A good toeside back roll is a prerequisite for this move. Approach the wake and initiate the roll the same way you would for a toeside back roll. Make sure you push your hips up off the top of the wake to get good lift and initiate the roll. After you have left the wake, drop your front hand from the handle and smoothly pull with your back hand into your back hip. The move to revert will come naturally.
Rider’s Tip:
If you are having trouble getting enough lift, make sure you are riding your edge all the way out the top of the wake before you roll.
