Back Roll
1. I like to teach people HS back rolls without the wake at slower speeds so they really learn how the pop and rotation work. Air tricks are a great eye-opener for that.
2. Keep the approach small so you’re forced to edge. If you take a big approach, you’ll likely go flat before the wake. Edge only as you enter the trough, and hold it through the top with a good, tall rotation.
