**1. Try to load the tail of the board on this move so you can get used to leaving the wake with a tight line. This will help you progress toward batwings and off-axis spins. Do this by keeping the approach short and the edge strong.
2. The hardest part of this move is the crossed-up landing. You can put the handle back in the other hand on the landing, but it’s better eventually to learn how to land crossed up. Think about moving the handle hard across your body and away from the wakes as you land. That will keep your position.
