The time has finally come. Danny Harf’s Defy is scheduled to premiere in Seattle on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Showbox Sodo. Another premiere at The Beacham in Orlando, Florida, will follow on Saturday, Dec. 17.
A BluRay/DVD combo pack of Defy will be available for $29.99, followed by an iTunes release later in December. The BluRay/DVD combo can also be ordered now at defythemovie.com and at your local Ronix dealer around Dec. 15.
Thousands of fans from around the world are eagerly anticipating the release of DEFY, but no one more than Harf himself.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Harf says. “We are super excited to show everyone the result of three years of pushing ourselves and trying to capture wakeboarding like never before.”
Co-producer Sean Kilgus has been spending every waking minute fine-tuning this masterpiece and believes that no one has seen wakeboarding like this before.
“From the Red Epic cameras, to the helicopter shots at Blue Lake, to all the other scenic locations we traveled, I’ve never seen anything like this in wakeboarding,” Kilgus says. “Not to mention the level of riding is everything we hoped for and then some.”
