Centurion Boats announced today that wakeskating legend; Aaron Reed has joined the Centurion pro team. Aaron Reed’s announcement is the newest in a long list of celebrated top watersports athletes who have recently left other brands to join Team Centurion. Aaron will be wakeskating behind the fully equipped FX22 with the Hammerhead bow, CATS and RAMFILL technology.
When asked, Aaron had this to say about the news. “After spending the last decade supporting boat riding, it is wonderful to now have the support of Centurion. As long as I can remember, Centurion has been innovating so many of the advancements we think of as commonplace today. It is truly an honor to be involved with a brand that is never satisfied with the status quo and always looking to make the riding experience more enjoyable. I cannot get enough of the Enzo FX22. From the most basic “creature comforts” to industry leading technology like CATS and RAMFILL, Centurion has created the ultimate wake-riding machine. I couldn’t be more proud to be apart of the Centurion family.”
Aaron Reed started his wakeskating career at age 19 in Palm City, Florida and quickly became known as one of the best wakeskaters in the world. His accomplishments include 2003 Alliance Rider of Year, 2006 WWA World Champion, 2006 Wakeskate X Games Champion and 2008 WakeBoarding Magazine Reader’s Poll Champion. In fact, Aaron, a current resident of Wimberley, Texas has remained in the top three of the poll ever since – an accomplishment that no other wakeskater can claim.
Aaron Reed joins a long list of Centurion pro team accomplished athletes. Centurion’s VP of marketing, Todd Gaughan had this to say about Reed’s announcement. “We couldn’t be happier. Aaron is a world-class athlete that has progressed the sport of wakeskating more than anyone else. In addition, he is world-class guy and we look forward to spending time with him at photo shoots and events in the future. We are honored to have an athlete of his caliber on Team Centurion.“
In addition to Centurion, Aaron is sponsored by Liquid Force, Obscura Wakeskates, Monster Energy, O’Neill, Performance Ski & Surf, and the Texas Ski Ranch. When asked about his new FX22, Aaron said, “I’ve been around watersports boats all my life and I’ve found that there are three things to point out about Centurion: 1. The quality is unmatched. From the tower to the transom, this boat is made with quality products and engineering. 2. The options are incredible. Completely customizable from the bottom up, the color combinations alone are unrivaled. 3. The technology is incredible. Centurion has always been way ahead of the game in this department and that has not changed. Centurion constantly challenges the status quo and delivers an incredible product. And as a bonus, the 4th noteworthy point is Centurion’s new 5-year warranty that is the best in the industry. You literally can’t beat it!”
