ABOUT WTD: Celebrating 15 years, Wake the Desert is the longest wake tournament in Texas. The event draws 150 athletes and over 1500 spectators. Athletes from all over the United States and Canada come to compete, including world champion, Chase Hazen, and world traveling wake icon, Dominic Lagace. San Angelo’s pro wakesurfer and 2013 EWT champion, Chris Kinsey, is expected to ride and defend his title. The event welcomes riders of all skill levels to meet new friends, learn new moves, as well as watch the pro’s compete.
