Aaron Rathy landed a switch heelside 900 to win the inaugural Oakley Riot double-up contest on December 2 during the Sea Dubai Festival. Shane Bonifay finished in second with his signature wrapped melon backside 720, and Keith Lyman took down third with a backside 720. “Rathy showed his class after arriving the night before the event and getting straight into his rhythm,” event organizer Andrew Whiteman said. “Yeah, I was a little off my game because of the time change,” Rathy said. “But the crowd was really cool, our autograph signing was right on the beach and the people were young and super excited. Winning was great because the podium was in the middle of a huge beach party surrounded by tiki bars!”
