Meet Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING October 2010: Gabriella Katia. Not only does this 18-year-old California native have the honor of being the first-ever Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING monthly winner, but she now moves on to compete for the 2011 Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING crown. We caught up with Katia to find out what she digs about wakeboarding and what she looks for in a riding buddy.
What do you like most about wakeboarding? I love the whole crowd of people that ride, and I also love being on the lake 24/7.
What trick do you most want to learn? A whirlybird
Tell us a little about the modeling you’ve done. Well, I started modeling about two years ago and have done many things from print to runway and commercial to editorial and promo. I’ve worked with different swimwear designers and clothing companies like Lost and Fox Racing. I was also on a TV show called Get Out!, and I have worked with the Home Shopping Network as well. I love it. It’s definitely my passion.
Who’s your favorite pro wakeboarder? Rusty Malinoski. He’s huge!
Would you ever date a wakeboarder? Most definitely.
Turn-ons? Nice teeth are a must. Abs, bone structure, an English accent, and an amazing sense of humor.
Turn-offs? Bad hygiene, bad teeth, long hair, acne, cocky guys, and guys who are too nice.
