Meet Chrissy Blair, the October 2011 monthly winner of the 2012 Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING Model Search. The 22-year-old beauty has never ridden a wakeboard despite having grown up in Orlando. It’s something we’ll have to remedy when Chrissy returns from a recent modeling stint in Italy.
Where are you from and where do you live now? Orlando, but I’m always traveling. I’m living in Italy for the next month then moving to Miami for a little while but my heart is in California. I hope to move there by next year.
Tell us a little bit about your modeling background. How did you get started and what kind of work have you done? I haven’t been modeling very long — only about a year. It all started when a good friend of mine in school convinced me to enter a modeling contest and I won! I have done a variety of jobs, including swimwear, lingerie, fashion and commercial modeling in Florida and a few jobs in California. I am currently modeling in Italy for the fall season and where I’m off to next is up in the air. I plan to work in as many places around the world as I can. I want to see how far I can go and enjoy the traveling and great people you get to see and meet along the way.
What do you do when you’re not working? I spend a lot of time with my friends and sister. I like being active, going to the beach, out on the boat in Orlando, doing Yoga or dancing at the clubs. I also am an artist and like to draw and paint in my free time.
Ever tried wakeboarding before? No. The closest thing to wakeboarding I’ve tried is kneeboarding.
We’ll have to fix that. Describe your dream date? I’m not the type of girl that needs to have an elaborate date with my guy but since you said DREAM date I’ll dream a little. I’d love for someone to secretly pack a bag of things, tell me last minute to cancel any plans for the weekend and surprise me with a date to somewhere warm and romantic like the Bahamas or maybe even Tahiti.
Turn-ons? Confidence, hard working, nice smile, good sense of humor, good taste in music, good cook, loyalty and strong forearms. Yeah, I know, kind of strange.
Turn-offs? Loud and obnoxious, sweet talkers, laziness, jealousy.
