Meet Ashley Arslanian, the 26-year-old model and VP of Marketing for TwistedCandi Bikinis. She is our next official contender in the Rockstar Miss TransWorld Wake 2013 Model Search. Hailing from Pleasanton, CA Ashley knows plenty about wakeboarding life on the Delta. Check out her interview and her photo gallery as she is now entered into the finals of the overall search.
What is your experience wakeboarding?
I have been wakeboarding ever since I was little. Except it was on a skurfboard and I would just cruise for days until my dad would eventually just stop the boat. When I am not traveling I try to make it out every chance I get since I live only 20 minutes from the Delta. This year my goal is to master the new cable park in Sacramento!
Do you have a favorite wakeboarder ?
I have a few favorite wakeboarders; Melissa Marquardt, Randall Harris and RickyG!
Where has modeling taken you?
I have been able to go to a lot of fun places and meet the most amazing people. I am actually heading to Costa Rica with TwistedCandi Bikinis to shoot for our 2014 Calendar, but so far my most memorable trip was with Axis Wake on their 2012 Boat Catalog shoot which was down in San Diego and Parker AZ. I’m hoping that one day my modeling takes me to Sports Illustrated Swim Edition.
What is your ideal day on the boat?
Heading to our spot on the delta, riding with my girlfriends then anchoring the boat and floating in our animal floaties with a nice cold beverage 😉
If you win the overall Miss TransWorld Wake, would you be ok signing autographs all around the country at King of Wake events?
Absolutely! =)
