With a higher freeboard, more ballast and a slew of new features, MasterCraft’s XT24 ushers in a new era of versatility and performance for watersports fans.
Aesthetically, the XT24 blends sleek lines with aggressive touches. With room for 17, comfort and storage abound. MasterCraft’s interior construction is some of the most comfortable available. Take a seat in the sculpted rear cabin seats to port and starboard, and you’ll quickly understand. When it’s time to lounge, opt for the flip-up backrests on the transom seats and enjoy watching the kiddos swim. When it’s time to ride, the convertible rear bench and flip-up backrests make it easy to watch the on-water action.
The fun behind the boat is where the XT24 shines, thanks in large part to the all-new SurfStar system. With new position-sensor technology and stronger actuators for the transom-mounted surf plates, the system delivers more consistent and reliable waves. The 3,600 pounds of ballast combined with the XT24’s hull—based off the award-winning X24—help create waves with tons of push and a large sweet spot, while the wakeboard wakes are symmetrical with a nice transition for catching big air.
With a wide variety of options, the XT24 is highly customizable. From flooring to windshields and towers to helm systems, the XT24 can be built exactly how buyers want and need. Our test model was equipped with the brand-new Z10 tower, a fully automated power tower that raises and lowers with the push of a button. Clamping board racks are standard on any tower, making board storage easy and convenient.
The helm can be outfitted with sporty analog gauges and a small touchscreen, or a larger dual-screen setup. Our test model featured the large touchscreen, allowing for easy access to the XT24’s systems. Setting up for surf or wakeboard action is a breeze, and if a rider finds certain custom settings to suit their needs, they can be saved as a user profile. With Ilmor’s 6.0-liter engine and the 2-to-1 gear ratio, there’s plenty of torque for getting out of the hole, while the 92 gallons of fuel means the fun will last all day—and then some.
