Exactly two years ago I left Orlando to go live in Argentina for some time, and while there I was fortunate enough to have some Argentinian wakeboarders take me under their wing. I was able to meet a lot of the riders and visit some cable parks down there, one of them being Renton Wakeboarding Complex.
Since that time, Renton has added a raised pool gap as well as additional obstacles. They’re now calling it “Argentina’s CWC.” Unbeknown to many people, Argentina has a flourishing wake scene, with Lucas Gonzalez and his “Acid Winch Crew” at the forefront.
So next time you’re planning a wake-cation, add San Nicolás, Argentina to your list and enjoy a stay at Renton!
