Guenther Oka, the winner of last year’s Red Bull Double or Nothing wake contest, calls the event iconic. Like a rite of passage, this crown needs to be won to be considered the best boat rider on the planet.
The mastermind behind the contest is none other than legend Parks Bonifay, the Double or Nothing double up meet has been going on for nearly two decades with a long hiatus before its grand comeback.
This year, 16 riders are invited to compete and the risk, reward and stakes are as high as the wake, with only ONE winner to crown… the one who goes the biggest. Sounds like the “Eddie Aikau” of Wakeboarding. Stay tuned this Sunday September 12th, if you cannot attend the event will be live streamed at Parks Bonifay’s YouTube channel.
