Max Van Helvoort can ride a board, period. Wakeboard or snowboard, doesn’t matter. It’s that reason that GoPro filmer and videographer Chris Rogers wanted to team up with the Dutchman and create “Standing Sideways.”
Whether on water (frozen or melted), Van Helvoort is insanely talented with a smooth-flowing style and bags of tricks that make you saw “WOW!” (or some other expletives we can’t share here). The duo traveled around the world over six months to create this epic piece, from CWC in the Philippines to the Dolomites in Italy, from OWC in Florida to the Turks and Caicos. Take a look and enjoy.
